About Driftreel

A small library of royalty-free video clips, built by a handful of people who got tired of paywalled stock footage.

What we do

Driftreel collects and hosts short video clips submitted by independent creators. Every clip in the library can be downloaded and used in personal or commercial projects without attribution or licensing fees.

Where the footage comes from

Clips are submitted directly by creators through our upload form. Each submission is reviewed for quality and licensing before it's published to the public library. We keep a lightweight review process on purpose — most clips go live within a few days.

Why it's free

We think good footage shouldn't be locked behind a subscription. The library is supported by a small team and kept intentionally simple: no accounts, no watermarks, no daily download limits.
